MEMO TO:THE ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA UNIVERSITY (ADZU) COMMUNITY
RE: EXTENDED SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND WORK
From the meeting of the AdZU Presidential Management Team (PMT) this morning, Saturday, 21 September 2013, I wish to inform the community on the following:
I. SUSPENSION OF CLASSES:
September 23-28, 2013 (Monday to Saturday) — Suspension of Classes shall be extended up to these days.
II. SUSPENSION OF WORK
September 23, 24 and 25, 2013 (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) — Suspension of Work shall be extended up to these days.
September 26 and 27, 2013 (Thursday & Friday) – Faculty and Staff are requested to report for some special sessions/briefing as follows:
September 26, 2013 (Thursday):
WHO: High School Unit (All Faculty and Staff)
Tertiary Unit (All faculty members of the Colleges, Graduate School, College of Law, School of Medicine)
WHAT: All are requested to report to Fr Eusebio G Salvador SJ Campus, Campion Lecture Hall (2nd floor BC Bldg) at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
SPECIAL REQUEST: We request that the Unit Heads of the Grade School and the Central Services (through HRADO) to mobilize a Team to take charge of the relief operations in Tumaga Campus on this day (please coordinate with Br Raymund E Belleza SJ) while the High School and the Tertiary Units are undergoing sessions/briefing.
September 27, 2013 (Friday):
WHO: Grade School Unit (All Faculty and Staff)
All the staff/personnel of the Tertiary Units and the Central Services
WHAT: All are requested to report to Fr Eusebio G Salvador SJ Campus, Campion Lecture Hall (2nd floor BC Bldg) at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
SPECIAL REQUEST: We request that the Unit Heads of the High School and the Tertiary Units mobilize a Team to take charge of the relief operations in Tumaga Campus on this day (please coordinate with Br Raymund E Belleza SJ) while the Grade School and the Central Service Units are undergoing sessions/briefing,
Those staff/personnel from the Formation Offices, Social Development Offices, and Guidance Offices of the various Units shall have a separate schedule to be arranged later as they are involved in the various engagements of AdZU in addressing the current crisis situation.
A separate announcement shall be issued if and when the situation does NOT permit based on the assessment of the PMT. WHEN NO SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT IS ISSUED, IT MEANS THAT THE SPECIAL SESSIONS/BRIEFING SHALL PUSH THROUGH.
