CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OUTREACH | AdZU SMA Conduct Basic Bookkeeping Training with SM City Mindpro

The AdZU School of Management and Accountancy (SMA) partners with SM City Mindpro for a corporate social responsibility outreach program on Basic Bookkeeping training for SM tenants last November 12, 2022 at the SM Mindpro Cinema Lobby.

Representatives from SM Tenants Bay Tal Mal, LENIN Computer Systems Inc, The Last Bread, UNICA, Bagel Girl, Annabon, Casa Velyn, MOTO, Expression Mobile Center Inc, Turkish Grille Plus and Acebedo Optical attended the training centered on the theories and concepts of bookkeeping, as well as the required tax compliance items for tenants.

Accountancy Department Chairperson John Carlos Wee, CPA and faculty member Ralph Chua, CPA served as speakers for the event. Wee discussed manual and computerized bookkeeping while Chua, CPA conducted a workshop on common bookkeeping procedures for tenants. Participants did sample entries on their sales book and withholding tax computations.

The event was made possible through the efforts of AdZU SMA Dean Dexter Velez and Outreach Coordinator Jose Journal Pangan, in cooperation with SM Mall Manager Engr Rommel Belen, SM Operations Manager Arnel Manahan and SM Tenant Relations Operations Assistant April Rose Montaño.
