RE :Congratulations to our New Licensed Teachers!
I commend the 100% (17 out of 17) passing rate of the March 2015 graduates of the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) who took the Board Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) in September, 2015. The results were released last month.
The overall performance rating is also commendable with 89% (33 out of 37) for BSEd, and 75% (3 out of 4) for BEEd. The national passing rates for the secondary and elementary levels are 42% and 31%, respectively.
I thank and congratulate the School of Education administrators, faculty and staff, led by Dean Evelyn G Chavez, PhD.
