MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE : CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW CPAS and ACCOUNTANCY DEPARTMENT
I am happy to announce to the community the results of the October 2016 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination.
The graduates of 2016 registered a batch rate of 93.55%, that is, 58 out of 62 examinees. The Overall Passing Rate is 87.14% (61/70). The national passing rate is 36.48%.
As a result of this commendable performance, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University was given recognition for the second consecutive time by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as one of the TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS. Nationwide, AdZU is Top 4 in the category of schools with 50 or more examinees.
I thank and congratulate the faculty of the Accountancy Department headed by John Carlos S Wee, and the School of Management and Accountancy led by Dean Maynard R Bagtasos.
