The Comida Para Vida III program, implemented from August to October 2024, successfully improved the nutritional health of 50 children in Barangay Cawit by providing nutritious meals and vitamins. The initiative achieved a 94% success rate, with 47 children showing increased BMI, addressing food insecurity and malnutrition in the community.
Spearheaded through the collaboration of barangay officials, Social Awareness and Community Service Involvement (SACSI) volunteers, and the Barangay Health Center, the program ensured proper implementation, health monitoring, and community engagement to sustain its impact.

The success of Comida Para Vida III underscores the effectiveness of targeted feeding programs in combating malnutrition and promoting healthier lifestyles among vulnerable populations. The initiative was made possible through the support Fr Guillrey Anthony Andal SJ, President of Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
