Christmas Break / Campus Lockdown

07 December 2016

MEMO TO :  THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY

RE : Christmas Break / Campus Lockdown

The government has declared
the following as non-working holidays: Dec 24, 25, 30, 31 and Jan 1. AdZU is
declaring the following as non-working days: Dec 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27,
28, 29, Jan 2 and 3.

From Dec 19 to Jan 03, the
University Policy on Campus Lockdown/Shutdown will take effect. This means the
buildings will be locked down, utilities will be shut-off, and entry into the
campus will be restricted only to those with written permission from the Office
of the Assistant to the President for Administration. Requests for exemptions
should be approved by the requesting party’s unit/office head.

For necessary University
operations, the Finance Office, HRADO, PPO and CITS will be allowed to work on
a limited office and working schedule as prepared by their unit heads.

In connection to this, may I
also remind everyone that the existing policy of asking permission to stay in
the offices for overtime work
during regular school days is still in effect and
will be observed strictly by our security personnel.

Offices and classes in all
levels will resume on Wednesday, 04 Jan 2017. However, the PPO personnel will
report on Tuesday, 03 January 2017 to prepare the Fr Salvador and Fr Kreutz
campuses for the re-opening of classes.

May this joyful season of
commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ bring about spiritual blessings to each
one of us, our respective families and to our school community.

Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year!

FR RICHARD V. ELLA SJ

Asst. to the Pres for Administration
