MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT FOR PLANNING AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS
After due consultation, I am upscaling the mandate of (and renaming) the Director of Planning Office to Assistant to the President for Planning and External Relations. The latter will involve the following tasks: 1) working with the Physical Plant Office in regard to site and physical plant planning,
2) coordinating the process of AdZU’s strategic directions,
3) engaging and liaising with the different sectors of our society especially the business and industrial groups, local government units, media and other private sectors of society and 4) assuming the functions of a public relations officer.
I am appointing Mr Roberto G Valerio as the Assistant to the President for Planning and External Relations. He will assume office on 01 April 2011 until 31 March 2012. He will continue to be part of the Core President Management Team. I thank Mr Valerio for his availability to this office.

I wish to thank Ms Maria Victoria C Montaño for her three competent years of service as the Director of the Planning Office.
