Invitation and Call for Papers
The Natural Science Department through the College of Science and Information Technology (CSIT) of Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) is holding the 3rd Annual Scientific Research Symposium with this year’s theme “Applied Research: Developing Solutions through Innovations” on September 15 -16, 2011 at the Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, La Purisima Campus, Zamboanga City. This scientific forum is supported and endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED IX), Department of Science and Technology (DOST IX) and the Zamboanga Basilan Sulu Tawi-Tawi Association of Private Schools (ZAMBASULTAP).
This year’s symposium emphasizes on the great strides and the tremendous opportunities that lie ahead in using applied researches in creating a sustainable future in Region IX by:
- providing a forum for presenting and sharing researches in the applied sciences from various academic, private and government institutions in Region IX
- provide a venue for researchers to share experiences and to enhance their knowledge on research works
- discussing ways to increase collaborations and linkages among participating students, researchers and institutions
