The Ateneo Center for Leadership and Governance (ACLG) established partnership with the Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD) Field Office IX. This is specifically in the conduct of its Kalahi-CIDDS Municipal Assessment (MA) under its Monitoring and Evaluation unit. It is a project evaluation tool conceptualized both as an assessment/diagnostic and capacity-building tool for local-level democratic dialogue.
ACLG facilitated and documented the pilot test implementation of the MA design together with the Kalahi-CIDDS National Project Management Office (NPMO) and the Regional Project Management Office (RPMO). The MA was also designed to facilitate dialogue (“Talakayan”) with the Municipal officials including the Municipal Mayor through meetings, focus group discussions and Key informant interviews. This was held on April 24-27, 2012 at Leon Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte.
ACLG was also assisted by some service-oriented volunteers from the Philosophy Department and other individuals in the technical and administrative tasks assigned to the Center.
