We are honored to have participated in the Discussion Platform on the Promotion of a Green and Circular Economy, held at the Garden Orchid Hotel, organized by the Philippine Red Cross. This gathering brought together representatives from local government units, private enterprises, and academe representatives to address the challenges of solid waste management and explore sustainable actions for Zamboanga City.
Mr. Emir V. Epino, Director of the Ateneo Center for Environment and Sustainability (ACES), served as a panelist, discussing about the AdZU’s long-standing advocacy for Ecological Solid Waste Management. He elaborated on AdZU’s proactive measures to minimize waste output through strategic partnerships with local businesses and campus-driven initiatives.
The event was a testament to the power of collective actions. AdZU remains committed to this shared vision, leveraging its research and partnerships to drive meaningful progress in sustainability.
