MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: A VERY BIG THANK YOU
I wish to thank very profoundly and congratulate our AdZU community for the smashing success of the recent events which we hosted and organized: the Jesuit Athletic Meet (JAM), the Centennial Jubilee Ateneo Fiesta (AtFest) and the Grand Alumni Homecoming 2012.
In particular, I thank the High School community and the
JAM steering committee for organizing JAM and making the delegates feel at home.
I thank the AtFest Overall Working committee for the creativity and hard work that made this year’s AtFest a truly memorable and enjoyable one. Many others contributed to the success of AtFest: Athletics Department, El Consejo leadership, Communication students and faculty, and AtFest committees and event organizers whether they are college/school-based or student organization-initiated.
I thank the Ateneo Alumni Association and the Alumni Relations and Development Office for spearheading and organizing the work in regard to the Alumni Homecoming events.
I thank the support groups who were very important during the days of JAM, AtFest and Alumni Homecoming: internal and external Security groups, Physical Plant Office and Personnel, Auxiliary Office, College Campus Ministry, Athletic staff, sponsors, AdZU Concert Band, Infirmary Clinic staff, AVC staff, and many others.
Above all, I thank the Lord for the past events and the intercession of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. Indeed, we have been truly blessed.
