Youth Alliance for Human Rights of Ateneo (YAHRA)
The Youth Alliance for Human Rights of Ateneo (YAHRA) is associated with the Commission on Human Rights – IX and Social Awareness and Community Service Involvement (SACSI) Office serving as its Human Rights Program.
YAHRA aims to champion humanitarian rights and amplify the voiceless, neglected, left-behind, oppressed, and vulnerable communities and/or individuals. We shall mobilize for the protection of Human Rights while denouncing abuses and violations of it. YAHRA is dedicated to creating events and activities that do not just educate Ateneans and the public regarding human rights, but also raise awareness on the common profanities experienced by many individuals and help address such cases. The organization is also focused on discovering approaches to encourage more engagement from people in discussing matters concerning serious offenses against an individual or a group’s rights.
EL FUENTE PH
El Fuente Ph shall be the publication and student involvement arm of the SACSI Office, comprising student volunteers who are bearers of light for truth, justice, and nation-building. The endeavors of two branches of the organization center on the socio-political matters in the university, local, and national contexts affecting human experiences.
