AdZU JHS WELCOMES INCOMING GRADE 7 STUDENTS AND TRANSFEREES!

Ateneo de Zamboanga University Junior High School continues its tradition of conducting the JHS Admission and Placement Examination (APEX) for prospective students. We are thrilled to announce that the APEX application process is now open from November 13, 2023, to April 12, 2024!

Incoming Grade 7 students will be tested in five core subjects: English, Science, Math, Filipino, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Don’t miss this opportunity; APPLY NOW!

Testing Dates:

  • January 20 & 27, 2024
  • February 3, 17, & 24, 2024
  • March 2, 9, 16, & 23, 2024
  • April 6 & 13, 2024

For incoming Grades 8-10 transfer students, please bring your updated report card from your previous school. The testing dates for transfer students will be announced soon.

Admission process for incoming Grade 7 students from AdZU Grade School:

  1. Grade 6 students from AdZU GS will take their exam scheduled on February 15, 2024.
  2. The AdZU JHS Admission Office will distribute the application form, examination permit, and payment slip to the AdZU GS students through their moderators. Payment can be made at the AdZU JHS Finance Satellite Office.
  3. After paying the testing fees at the JHS Finance Satellite Office, students should submit the filled-out application forms, examination permit including a 1×1 photo of the applicant on a blue background and payment receipt (O.R.) to the staff at the AdZU JHS Office of Admissions and Aid.
  4. The admission and placement exam will be administered on a scheduled date for all Grade 6 students.
  5. The applicant will receive the results, which will be released a week after the exam, along with a letter addressed to the examinee.
  6. The applicant will receive a letter of acceptance a week after the testing date, which includes information about the family conference, enrollment dates, and admission requirements.
  7. The applicant should attend a scheduled family conference with the parents/guardians.
  8. The applicant will proceed with the enrollment procedures.

Admission process for non-AdZU incoming Grade 7 students:

  1. The applicant obtains an application form and an examination permit, from the Office of Admission and Aid, fills them out, and schedules a testing date. The filled out examination permit should include a 1×1 photo of the applicant on a blue background.
  2. The applicant pays the testing fee and secures a receipt.
  3. On the scheduled testing date, the applicant presents the receipt.
  4. The applicant receives the results, which will be released a week after the exam, along with a letter addressed to the examinee.
  5. The applicant receives a letter of acceptance a week after the testing date, which includes information about the family conference, enrollment dates, and admission requirements.
  6. The applicant attends a scheduled family conference with the parents/guardians.
  7. The applicant proceeds with the enrollment procedures.

We request the applicants to prepare at least 3 pcs of 1×1 photo on a blue background.
