Greetings of Peace!
On April 6, 2016, we will be
conducting the Voices of Zamboanga: Sectoral conversations
with the local candidates at the Garden Orchid Hotel Convention Center from
1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon.
The Ateneo de Zamboanga University
and Commission of Elections will spearhead this event in partnership with the
multi-sectoral electoral coalition, the United Front for Honest, Orderly and
Peaceful Elections (UF HOPE). Invitees to the event are sectoral
representatives through the ZABIDA, Silsilah, PPCRV network, and the partner
communities under SDC. We have also invited people from the academe, AdZU
administrators and faculty and staff, as well as from our partner
schools.
For those who cannot be able to join
us given the restrictions, you may follow us on the UF HOPE twitter and
facebook account: ufhope. The proceedings will also be recorded by major media
outfits: E-Media, ABS-CN and TV- 11.

The following
Protocols will be observed:
1. Prohibition of the display or distribution of
any form of campaign materials.
2. Color of the attire may jive with one’s own
political party affiliation, BUT, with no print.
3. Recording of the proceedings of the conversations shall
be limited to official documenter and the official media outfits who will be
invited to cover the event.
4. Any act demeaning the other candidate present
shall not be allowed. Howling, booing and shaming other candidates or sectors
will be dealt with by the organizers accordingly.
