MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE : IMMACULATE CONCEPTION MASSES
Every
December 8th, we commemorate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. It is the day on which Mary
was conceived without original sin in the womb of St. Anne; a grace Mary
received because she was to be the Mother of Jesus.
There will be no formal classes or work in the offices, but there
will be nonacademic activities for half-day in honor of our patroness, the
Blessed Virgin Mary. Thus, I enjoin the University community’s participation in
all the activities and attendance in the following masses:
