Ateneo de Zamboanga University Office of the President produced a new institutional video to showcase the university’s strategic thrusts for 2013-2016.The short video highlights the school’s “vision of a new Mindanao at the heart of a new Philippines and a mission of leadership for social transformation in Zamboanga”.
The video was produced in-house, with members of the faculty and staff in the production team. The video was conceptualized by Yen Delgado, chair of the Department of Communication, who was also the project’s executive producer.
It was directed by Xeph Suarez who has received several national and regional filmmaking awards. Suarez graduated BS Mass Communication a few months ago and now teaches part time at the Communication Department. The script was written by literature professor Marion Guerrero based on research done by Christine Canones, chair of the Social Science department.
Members of the newly formed film organization, Cinema Atenista, made up the crew.
