SACSI’s
Environment Program hosts Stewardship Recollection
By facilitating personal reflections on the writings in the
sacred scriptures with regards to the creation of things and to some
environmental issues, the Environment Program (EP) of the Social Awareness and
Community Service Involvement (SACSI) office conducted a Stewardship
Recollection for the facilitators at the House of Peace in Harmony Village,
Sinunuc, Zamboanga City on July 19, 2014.
Assistant to the President for Formation and College
Chaplain, Fr. Wilfredo M. Samson SJ, served as the speaker to 16 student
volunteers of the Volunteer and Environment Programs of the SACSI office. He
was assisted by Welma L. Omboy, EP officer of the said office.
The event also served as an avenue to train the participants
to become facilitators of a similar event being organized by the EP which will
be held in the same year.
