MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: PARKING AT THE FR EUSEBIO G SALVADOR SJ CAMPUS
Due to the small size of the Fr Salvador Campus, we have very limited parking spaces for cars. Considering the special needs of some units, we have reserved parking spaces as follows effective 03 January 2013:
- Four (4) parking slots for the School of Medicine – the first four (4) slots from the vehicle exit gate in front of the LRC Bldg (parallel to the university road). All other parking slots in front of the LRC Bldg and at the side of the university church are strictly for AdZU faculty and staff on a “first-come-first-served” basis. The area beside the LRC Bldg is for motorcycle parking for AdZU faculty, staff and students on a “first-come-first-served” basis.
- Two (2) parking slots for the Office of the President – the first two (2) slots near KIOSK C perpendicular to the university road (1 slot strictly for guests, 1 slot for staff on a “first-come-first-served” basis).
- The four (4) succeeding slots after the parking for the Office of the President are for the Deans and the university physician. All other slots thereat (perpendicular to the university road) and all the slots in front of the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary (parallel to the university road) are strictly for AdZU faculty and staff on a “first-come-first-served” basis. NO MOTORCYCLES shall be allowed.
- Three (3) parking slots between the Xavier Hall and the Sauras Hall are for the College of Law from 3:00 PM onwards. All other parking slots thereat and at the back of MPCC are strictly for AdZU faculty and staff on a “first-come-first-served” basis. NO MOTORCYCLES shall be allowed.
- More parking slots are available for AdZU faculty and staff cars near KIOSKS A and B (perpendicular to the university road, NO MOTORCYCLES allowed), in front of the gym (parallel to the university road, NO MOTORCYCLES allowed), and in front of the Gallery of the Peninsula and Archipelago (perpendicular to the university road, MOTORCYCLES ARE ALLOWED).
- The parking area in front of the Jesuit Residence is strictly for university vehicles.
- The Nuñez AdZU Parking area shall be available for all vehicles with AdZU sticker once the construction of the Rosauro Hall is completed. An additional parking space will be made available when the area presently occupied by the faculty and student dormitories is vacated.
This Memo supersedes all other previous parking arrangements and Memos.
I wish to appeal to the community to be more patient and considerate with one another in the compliance of campus traffic rules and regulations.
For your information and guidance.
