Re : Diet Lecture Forum with FREE FBS and Cholesterol
Greetings!
As part of the University Infirmary Fitness and Wellness Program, we would like to cordially invite all faculty and staff to attend a diet therapy lecture forum entitled The Pleasures of Healthy Eating on 27 August 2011, 8:30-11:00 am at Campion Lecture Hall, 2nd Floor Campion Hall, ADZU La Purisima Campus.
We have invited Ms. Dolores Paredes, President of Nutritionist Dietician Association of the Phils (NDAP), to be our key speaker. Ten (10) nutritionists from NDAP will also be with us to provide one-on-one diet counseling for the participants.
This diet therapy lecture forum will specifically tackle on obesity, prevention and control of diabetes and hypertension. In this regard, we are also happy to inform you that there will be a free FBS and Cholesterol Screening for the first 30 participants during registration. Please note that you are advised to fast 8 hours before the test.
Let’s all come together on this day to have a healthy awareness on our diet as “Prevention is better the cure” is one of the Infirmary’s major objectives.
