Meeting of Jesuit University Presidents and Presidents-elect in AdZU

The Jesuit university presidents and presidents-elect met in Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) from 13 to 16 January 2011.The gathering was intended to be an orientation of the new presidents:  Fr Bobby Yap SJ, Province Treasurer, for Xavier University (XU) and Fr Jun Viray SJ, Loyola House of Studies Rector, for Ateneo de Naga University (AdNU).  The other presidents who attended the meeting were:  Fr Jett Villarin SJ (currently president of XU and incoming president of Ateneo de Manila University [AdMU]), Fr Joel Tabora SJ (presently president of AdNU and incoming president of Ateneo de Davao University [AdDU]), and AdZU president Fr Tony Moreno SJ.  It was also a time for the presidents to explore more ways of partnership and collaboration and to have time of bonding just for themselves.  The resource persons of the meeting were the following:  AdMU President Fr Ben Nebres SJ, AdDU President Fr Ting Samson SJ and Fr Provincial Jojo Magadia SJ.The other resource persons include Bro Raymund Belleza SJ, Fr Albert Alejo SJ, Fr Willy Samson SJ, Dr Becky Fernandez and Engr Aldrin Hitalia from AdZU, Ms Janet Badilla from AdNU, Dr Jesse Manuta and Mr Rald Lampauog from AdDU and Mr Jaime Ignacio from XU.
