The Ateneo School of Education (SED) adds another feather in its cap as Dr Evelyn G Chavez, SED Dean, was among the awardees in the 25th founding anniversary of the Teacher Education Council (TEC) for her contribution in strengthening and improving the system of teacher education in the Philippines. Dr Chavez is the Mindanao TEC Zonal Representative from 2017 to 2020.
The awarding ceremony was held last December 5, 2019 at Widus Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga as part of the 7th Annual National Convention of Centers of Excellence and Development in Teacher Education.
Just recently, the School of Education, along with the Arts and Sciences, Nursing, Business, and Accountancy Higher Education (HE) programs, received a five-year Level III reaccreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) valid until November 2024.
