The Ateneo, being a Jesuit University aims to develop its students’ potentials – to be well-grounded individuals – mentally, physically, psychologically, spiritually, socially and holistically.
In its effort to fulfill this goal, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) Grade School organized the Launching of Clubs and Organization at Fr Aureo G Nepomuceno SJ Covered Courts (FANCC) last July 20, 2015. This was spearheaded by Mrs Geraldine N. Grajo, the Student Activity Coordinator and participated by the club moderators.
Students in the Grades 1-3 listened to the club moderators during their Room to Room Campaign and the Grades 4 -6 assembled in the FANCC for the Club Fair. Club moderators prepared several gimmicks to convey and attract students to join their clubs. Students got to register in the club of their choice with the guidance of their parents. These clubs were geared towards students’ personal development and enhancement of skills and talents.
Students are allowed to join up to three (3) out of the twenty-nine (29) clubs and organizations offered by the school. These clubs cater to the wide range of interests and hobbies of the students which includes music, sports, travel, arts, and their love for numbers, technology and conducting science experiments.
