The year is shaping up to be one filled with exciting fun runs, and one of the most memorable so far was the “Animo Run Fur Fun”, proudly organized by the Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School Batch 2000 (ANIMO MM),who are also celebrating their silver jubilee this year. The event was held last April 12, 2025, at the William H. Kreutz Campus in Tumaga, and brought together a vibrant community of runners, supporters, and even some furry friends.
The fun run welcomed participants of all levels—from first-time joggers to seasoned athletes—but what truly stole the show was the unique twist: dogs in their most adorable race-day outfits trotting alongside their human companions. These four-legged participants charmed the crowd and added a delightful energy to the event.
The day began with an energetic Zumba session to get everyone warmed up, followed by a heartfelt message from Mr. John Federick Ruiz, President of the AdZU Alumni Association, who emphasized the spirit of unity, health, and giving back that the event represents.
