In celebration of two remarkable decades of excellence, companionship, and service, the College of Science, Information Technology, and Engineering (CSITE) reaffirms its commitment to empowering students to reach their full potential. To give back to the community, CSITE celebrates its 20th anniversary with events and activities that foster collaboration, unity, and trust, embodying the values that have defined its journey.
The CSITE@20 Math and Science Olympiad, held on January 30, 2025, at AdZU RUCJ COL Conference Hall, showcased student brilliance and collaboration. Dr. Jocelyn D. Partosa delivered a welcoming message, encouraging academic and personal growth. Senior high schools across Zamboanga City competed in a thrilling friendly math-science challenge, with a tie-breaker deciding third place.

Even in a friendly competition, there are those who rise to the top, having given their utmost effort and commitment to excel in the event. Congratulations to the following winners for showcasing both their brilliance and outstanding sportsmanship, making the event truly remarkable!
𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 – Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School – Stand Alone Senior High School represented by Joshua R Franco, Faith B Martin, and John Loyd P Perocho, with their coach Ms Vanessa B Agura.
𝟮𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘 – Ateneo de Zamboanga University Senior High School represented by Johann Kamlian Emlan, Cyrus Olivo, and Jan Hurrigh Surbito, with their coach Ms Roselyn G Cañete.
𝟯𝗥𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘– Culianan National High School represented by Ferdinand A JR Apostol, John Allan T Santos, and John Carlo C Vergara, with their coach Mr Sonny Boy C Dela Cruz.
Heartfelt appreciation to the following schools for their active participation in the Math-Science Olympiad:

Concluding the event, the Director of the AdZU Admissions and Aid Office, Ms. Jennifer Reyes alongside Ms. Sherry Gloria Lim shared details about scholarship opportunities and the College Entrance Test (AdZU CET). CSITE looks forward to welcoming these bright minds, staying committed to inspiring and equipping students to excel. This milestone is a testament to CSITE’s enduring mission to deliver exceptional education, foster a culture of service, and promote holistic growth for every individual.
