𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝟑𝐏𝟑 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭

May 20, 2025 – The Ateneo Center for Environment and Sustainability (ACES) warmly welcomed 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐞 𝐑𝐌 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐨, Director of Climate and Forced Displacement and former Regional Director of Jesuit Refugee Service Asia Pacific (JRSAP) — the 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 of our 𝐂𝟑𝐏𝟑 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 (𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝟑) — for an on-site assessment and monitoring visit on on our upland and coastal areas.

The C3P3 is a Flagship Project under the 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 (𝐉𝐂𝐀𝐏) managed by JRSAP in collaboration with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University through ACES. With the ACES’ 𝐒𝐈𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐀 (𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, this initiative aims to 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬 across 10 hectares in the upland areas of the ancestral domains of 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧, 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐚𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐚 and in the coastal area of 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐢 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, Talon-Talon.

This engagement highlights our shared commitment to 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 through collaborative action.
