Mega Prime Food, Inc., a subsidiary of Mega Global Corporation, visited Ateneo de Zamboanga University last February 13, 2025, which were represented by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐨, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐆𝐞𝐛 𝐀𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐢, Employer Branding & Communication Lead both from Mega Prime Fishing Incorporated, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐨, HR Site Lead at Mega Seafoods Corporation. The Mega Prime Team seeks to explore potential collaboration opportunities between the two organizations. Having noticed the talent-producing capacity of AdZU, various partnership possibilities were discussed, with a focus on job placement and internships, for graduates and students, respectively.
The Mega Prime Team, led by Ms. Kristine Policarpio, shared that Mega Prime is currently diversifying its operations and is looking to improve its processes. In doing so, they would hope to require a strong talent pool where they hope to tap the Ateneo.
Led by ACE OIC 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚, the AdZU ACE Office’s, whose leading objectives are aligned with Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s core, is ecstatic and pleased with this partnership with Mega Prime. Additionally, the university itself is happy to collaborate with Mega and expressed ways on which they may tap AdZU’s placement and internship functions through the ACE office. In addition, AdZU invited Mega Prime to participate in the upcoming March 2025 AdZU Career Fair which MEGA gladly accepted.
Among the attendees from Ateneo de Zamboanga University during the meeting were 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐥𝐩𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐚, Director of the Advancement Office, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬, Director of the College Admissions and Aid Office, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐚, who represented the College and Guidance Counseling Office.
A courtesy visit with Ateneo de Zamboanga University President, 𝐅𝐫. 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 “𝐄𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝” 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥, 𝐒𝐉 also took place. Fr. Ernald himself expressed his full support on this endeavor believing that this can greatly amplify the opportunities awaiting for AdZU students and alumni.
This visit marks an exciting step toward building a strong, mutually beneficial partnership. Both parties are eager to continue exploring opportunities for growth and development.
