Starting today until my return, Fr Richard V Ella SJ, Vice President for Administration, is designated as University OIC.
I shall be in Canada to attend the 2018 Canadian Conference on Medical Education (CCME) and receive the Charles Boelen International Social Accountability Award from the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) together with Dr Fortunato Cristobal, Dean of the AdZU School of Medicine. This award is given organizations in recognition of their professional accomplishments exemplary of the principles of social accountability.
While in Canada, I shall also touch-base with the partner-institutions of our pioneering BS in Biomedical Engineering Program.
I thank Fr Richard for taking on this task, and ask the community for prayers and support .
