RE: THE ATENEO SPECIAL AWARDS
I am very pleased to inform you that on 10 February 2010, Wednesday, 5.00 PM, Carlos Dominguez Hall, we will have the Ateneo Special Awards. The following will be given awards:
Ateneo Peace Award:
Lt Gen Mohammad Benjamin D Dolorfino AFP and Lt Gen Raymundo B Ferrer AFP
Abp Luis V del Rosario SJ DD Award:
Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM)
Lt Gen Dolorfino and Lt Gen Ferrer are Commanding Generals of Western Mindanao Command and Eastern Mindanao Command respectively. Both will present their contributions to peace in Mindanao in a peace forum titled: “Waging Peace in Mindanao” on the same day, 9.00 AM, Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall. Many have said that these two Generals have an exceptional track record in peacebuilding. I invite you all to this peace forum.
