SAFETY FIRST | University Drivers Attend Toolbox Meeting on Safe Driving

July 15, 2025 – The University Safety Office, through University Safety Officer Ariel Delgado and Fleet Auxiliary Supervisor Jeremy Fernando, spearheaded a Toolbox Meeting on Safe Driving Practices with the university’s drivers.

The session aimed to refresh essential road safety reminders and reinforce vehicle care practices. Topics included pre-trip inspections, proper seatbelt use, avoiding distractions, and maintaining alertness on the road. Drivers also engaged in discussions on handling common hazards such as fatigue, mechanical concerns, and adverse weather conditions, as well as appropriate emergency responses during vehicle breakdowns.

More than just a refresher, the meeting highlighted the drivers’ dedication to ensuring safe, reliable, and responsive transport services for the Ateneo community.
