MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: ROBELYN “SHENG” C SUAN, 1980 – 2010
It is with deep sadness that I inform the AdZU community of the brutal murder of Ms Robelyn “Sheng” C Suan in her residence in Pasonanca. The time, context and motive of the murder are not yet determined. The investigation of her case is still ongoing.
Sheng finished BEED with us in 2001. That same year, she was hired as our Grade One teacher for nine years. Her students fondly called her “Teacher Robelyn.” She was an excellent teacher and well-loved by her students and colleagues.
A Mass will be celebrated on 22 March, Monday, 9.00 AM, Sacred Heart Chapel. I invite you to join us in praying for the repose of the soul of Sheng, and for the consolation of her family, relatives, friends, students, parents of her students and the Grade School community.
We condemn in no uncertain terms her killing. We pray that the culprit/s be brought to the bar of justice.
