MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY

RE : PROTOCOLS FOR DONATIONS (REBUILDING EFFORTS)

We are greatly inspired and profoundly grateful for the overwhelming support of our community members, the alumni, our mission partners and friends in the academe, the Church, civil society and local government.

We are deeply moved by how immediate and immense the response was to our call for help. Already, we have disseminated information about ways by which people can send their help. To ensure that all donations are accounted for, the following protocols are established.

1. For DIRECT DONATIONS THROUGH BANK DEPOSIT OR ONLINE (CREDIT CARD) TRANSACTION

1.1 Send electronic or scanned copy of validated deposit slips or transaction receipts to president@host.adzu.edu.ph/revamp.

2. For DONATIONS TO ADZU (CASH/CHECK OR ITEMS) COURSED THROUGH AN INDIVIDUAL/OFFICE the following procedures should be followed strictly:

2.1 CASH/CHECK DONATIONS
2.1.1 Remit cash/check to the Finance Office.
2.1.2 Get an official receipt.
2.1.2 Submit the official receipt to the Office of the President, through Ms Eva De Fiesta-Luza, for
proper documentation.

2.2 DONATIONS IN KIND
2.2.1 Turnover items to Purchasing and Custodial Office (PCO).
2.2.2 Secure from PCO acknowledgement receipt with list of items donated.
2.2.3 Submit receipt to the Office of the President, through Ms Eva De Fiesta-Luza, for proper documentation.

3. For WALK-IN DONATIONS
Only two drop-off points are officially designated, the SOCIAL AWARENESS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE INVOLVEMENT (SACSI) Office, through Ms Raquel Salvacion and Mr Mayo Enriquez, and the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, through Ms Eva De Fiesta-Luza.

4. For FUNDRAISING EVENTS IN BEHALF OF THE UNIVERSITY
Proposals for fundraising activities should be submitted or presented to Mr Marco Alfino “KIKO” Miranda, Director of the Ateneo Center for Culture and Arts (ACCA). He shall forward them to the President for approval. Once approved, Kiko’s committee shall coordinate with all proponents to streamline events, to ensure quality, and to maximize yield.

These protocols are to be followed strictly for proper accounting and for official acknowledgement by the President. For more queries, please contact Ms Renee Vieve Vecina-Kanindot, Assistant to the President, at 991-0871 local 1001 or email her at vecinarenm@host.adzu.edu.ph/revamp.

Thank you.

FR KAREL S SAN JUAN SJ
University President
