RE: NEW SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

I am pleased to announce the appointment of FR ARNEL T ONG SJ as Acting Principal of the Senior High School effective 1 May 2019. He will be designated Principal upon approval of the Board of Trustees.
Fr Atong will be concurrent Principal of both Junior High School and Senior High School. This will help facilitate the integration of these two basic education units. Fr Atong’s term shall initially be for one school year, 2019 – 2020. Among his priorities will be the identification and preparation of a new Principal to succeed him.
I thank Fr Atong for his availability and generosity to serve in another leadership capacity for our University mission. He will be instrumental in strengthening the Senior High School as the newest basic education unit.
I would like to thank MR REY REYES for serving as the Principal since the establishment of the Senior High School unit in 2016. Mr Reyes was responsible in setting up this unit, and leading it through the many complexities and challenges of giving birth to a new school under the K-12 educational reform. The University is grateful for his leadership in this.
As a University, let us support and pray for Fr Atong and the whole Senior High School unit.
