Fr Ramon M Mores, SJ, 86, passed away early morning of November 18, 2014, in Manila.
Fr Mon was Rector of Ateneo de Zamboanga in 1969-1971 and in 1977-79.
He was the last Rector and Head of the institution before the Board started to elect its President.
Fr Mon served in the General Curia of the Society of Jesus in Rome, was Rector of Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro for many years, and spent his last years in the Sacred Heart Parish and Shrine in Cebu.
He was born on November 5, 1928. He entered the Society of Jesus on May 30, 1947.
Wake masses are being held for him at Loyola House of Studies (LHS) in Ateneo de Manila University at 8PM. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, November 22, at 2PM, also at LHS.
A memorial mass for Fr Mon will be held in Zamboanga, with date and time to be announced later.
The ADZU community is enjoined to pray for the repose of his soul.
