On
November 24 the Young Ateneans’ Science Environmentalists (YASEN) and Young
Ateneans’ Science Educators (YASED) of the Junior High School have conducted
their first simultaneous mangrove planting at Talon-Talon and coastal clean-up
at R.T. Lim Boulevard in coordination with City Environment and Natural
Resources Office of the city and the barangay officials. Intensifying the
awareness of the students in the present environmental condition is the main
objective of the said activities. This also promotes students to be part of
conserving and protecting the environment through environmental advocacies. The
students were engaged in these activities.
