IT 101 for Campus Maintenance Personnel

Twenty eight janitorial and maintenance personnel had a hands-on computer training at the CITS Training Laboratory 1 on May 19, 20 and 21, 2010.

The basic computer training was conceptualized to promote computer literacy among janitors and other maintenance personnel. Participants who attended at least eight hours of training learned the basic skills of using a computer. They also learned to navigate the Internet and use Microsoft Word and e-mail programs.

Facilitating the training were Maureene Olive M. Billones, Jessica D. Partosa, and Eugene Lemuel F. Tarrazona, all from the College of Science and Information Technology.
