RE: ISRA WAL MIRAJ HOLIDAY
I wish to inform our community that upon the advice of the Office on Muslim Affairs of Zamboanga Peninsula, 20 July 2009, Monday, is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday to celebrate Isra Wal Miraj, Prophet Mohammad’s night journey and ascension to heaven. There will be no offices and classes at all levels on this day.
We join our Muslim brothers and sisters in celebrating this very important event in the life of Prophet Mohammad.
