Fr Jose T Bacatan SJ Library, in partnership with Social Awareness and Community Service Involvement (SACSI), presents Information Mastery: A Literacy Program for NSTP students on January 22 and 25, February 1 and 5, 2025.
This program consists of eight essential modules designed to equip students with critical research and information literacy skills. Topics include types of information sources, evaluating sources, citations, plagiarism and copyright, searching for information online, navigating databases, and organizing information sources. Additionally, the program features a library orientation and an introduction to the library’s online resources.
With the goal of enhancing students’ knowledge and research proficiency, this initiative supports their academic journey by fostering effective and ethical information use. The event were facilitated by the library’s team of expert librarians.
