RE: IMMACULATE CONCEPTION MASS

The 8th day of December is held holy and special by the Catholic communities of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and the Archdiocese of Zamboanga. We commemorate, on this day, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, in honor of our Patroness. It is the day when Mary was conceived without original sin in the womb of St. Anne; a grace Mary received because she was to be the Mother of our savior, Jesus Christ.
For this year’s liturgical celebration, I ask the members of the AdZU community of all faiths to join us. The mass serves as thanksgiving, and a meaningful culmination of the success of the ATFEST 2018.
