MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: FIESTA PILAR
On 12 October 2010, Tuesday, we will be celebrating our feast of Nuestra Señora La Virgen del Pilar. On this very festive occasion, it is a day of gratitude and celebration for many Zamboangueños. We will have no offices and classes on this day.
On 06 October, Wednesday, AdZU will be the main sponsor of the Novena Mass at the Shrine of our Lady of the Pillar. I urge the participation of Catholics among us to join the pilgrimage and Mass at the Fort Pilar Shrine. For this, offices and classes in the Tertiary Level will be called off from 2.55 PM. Graduate School classes are left to the discretion of the instructors. Classes and offices in the High School will end at 12.00 noon. The details of the pilgrimage and Novena Mass will be worked out by the Campus Ministries of our academic units in coordination with the Office of the formation.
