The ADZU faculty, staff and college students actively participated in the celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception held on December 8, 2009 at the Multi Purpose Covert Court, Ateneo de Zamboanga University. Lunch followed after the Eucharistic Celebration prepared by the Human Resource Administration and Development Office (HRADO) held at LRC Quadrangle.
The event was organized by the RS Department spearheaded by Ms. Rosana P. Solamo, in coordination with the Office for Formation, Academic Vice President Office and Campus Ministry Office to enlighten the ADZU community about the role of Mary in Christian and Muslim perspectives.
Mr. Joseph A. Climaco as the Master of Ceremony hosted the program. The program started with a short procession from College Building to MPCC. The speakers for that program were Fr. Salvador C. Wee, SJ and Mr. Ghazalli Taupan. After the program, Eucharistic Celebration followed and presided by Fr. Antonio F. Moreno, SJ ADZU president.
