A turn-over ceremony concluded on July 5, 2024 at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of the Salvador Campus in La Purisima. With the continuous support and partnership of Metro Stonerich Corporation (MSC) , the long-standing partner of the university, a successful turn-over ceremony of material testing equipment and tools for the use of the school’s Civil Engineering program was made possible.
This donation will have a significant impact on our AdZU Civil Engineering students’ commitment to excellence and quality education. Additionally, it may open up new possibilities for them to learn and enhance their abilities as aspiring engineers.
The event was attended by several key administrators from AdZU, including Vice President for Higher Education Fr. Rene Tacastacas SJ, Vice President for Administration Fr. Richard Ella SJ, Dean of the College of Science, Information Technology, and Engineering (CSITE) Dr. Jocelyn D. Partosa, Engineering Department Chair Engr. Janet Tan, and Physical Plant Office Director Engr. Rommel Idris. They were joined by the CE faculty and MSC’s CE scholars, who served as witnesses to the occasion.
The turn-over is just one step toward a brighter future for AdZU and our up and coming civil engineering students.
Congratulations, CSITE! May these recently received educational resources assist you in your quest to become future Ignatian engineers who will one day serve the city, region, and nation to the greater glory of God.
