MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE : CREATION OF UNIVERSITY COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE
To lead our efforts in generating widespread awareness, understanding, engagement, and support to the vision and mission of Ateneo de Zamboanga University, I have established the University Communications Office (UCO) headed by Ms MONABELLE “YEN” B DELGADO, who has over a decade worth of training and experience in Journalism and Public Relations. The ADZU Press staff composed of Mr Francis Ray E Vesagas, Mr Jaime Danilo A Zapanta, and Ms Sheila R Partosa shall form an integral part of the new office, along with Mr Danilo Bautista Jr and Ms Myra Urbano.
The University Communications Office will help the University communicate more effectively with both internal and external audiences — students, faculty and staff, alumni, parents, our friends and partners, and the general public. Specifically, Ms Delgado and her UCO team shall assist the University in the following:
- Internal (University) and External (Stakeholders) Communication
- Media/Public Relations
- Web communications, Social Media
- Strategic communication plans and policies
- Institutional documentation (photography, video production)
- Recruitment and Marketing in coordination with the Admissions and Aid Office and the University Recruitment Committee
I would like to thank Ms Delgado and her team for their commitment and generosity to serve the University. I ask the University Community for prayers, support, and cooperation.
