RE: CONGRATULATIONS TO MR ABDEL AZIZ A ALFAD, BSMS – 1
I am very pleased to announce to our community that Mr Abdel Aziz A Alfad BSMS (Mathematical Science) – 1 from the College of Science and Information Technology (CSIT) was declared Champion in the 18th Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) National Finals last 04 December 2009. The PSQ, sponsored by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and the Philippine Statistical Association (PSA), is an annual competition open to all college freshmen designed to assess the competency and skills of freshmen college students in statistics, mathematics and general information. Mr Alfad was our Regional PSQ Champion last 12 November 2009. He competed with the other regional champions including students from top universities in the country.
I would like to thank and congratulate Mr Alfad for his winning the 18th PSQ National Finals. I would also like to thank and congratulate his Coach Mr Abner C Alvarez, Mathematics Department of CSIT.
