Christmas Break / Campus Lockdown

16 December 2015

MEMO TO :  THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY

RE : CHRISTMAS BREAK/ CAMPUS LOCKDOWN

The government has declared the following as nonworking holidays: December 24, 25, 30, 31 and January 1. AdZU is declaring the following as nonworking days: December 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and January 2.

From December 23 to January 03, the University Policy on Campus Lockdown/Shutdown will take effect. This means the buildings will be locked down, utilities will be shut-off, and entry into the campus will be restricted only to those with written permission from the Office of the President. Requests for exemptions should be approved by the requesting party’s unit/office head.

For necessary University operations, I ask the office heads (especially Finance Office, HRADO, PPO and CITS) to work out a limited office and working schedule.

Offices and classes in all levels will resume on Monday, 04 January 2016. However, the PPO personnel will report on Saturday, 02 January 2016 to prepare the Fr Salvador and Fr Kreutz campuses for the reopening of classes.

As we joyfully spend the long period of holidays with our families and friends, let us also take time to remember our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ in whose honor we are celebrating Christmas. I wish you all a joyous holiday season, and a new year filled with love, peace and happiness.

Feliz Pascua!

FR KAREL S SAN JUAN SJ
University President
