RE :Center of Development for Information Technology
I am happy to inform the community that AdZU has been designated as a Center of Development for Information Technology pursuant to CHED Memorandum Order No. 38 series 2015.
This recognition, given to higher education institutions that continuously demonstrate high performance in the areas of instruction, research and publication, extension and linkages and institutional qualifications, is part of the Commission on Higher Education‘s Center of Excellence Program provided for under Section 8 (f) of RA 7722, otherwise known as the Higher Education Act of 1994.
Through this program, CHED shall “… identify, support and develop potential centers of excellence in program areas needed for the development of world-class scholarship, nation building and national development…”
I congratulate and thank the College of Science and Information Technology administrators, faculty, staff and students, especially its dean, Dr Rochelleo
Mariano, and the Computer Science Department led by the Chair, Mr Romeo Rabajante Jr.
