Centennial Commemorative Stamps and other Philatelic Products

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) together with the Philippine Postal Corporation would like to happily announce the issuance of the AdZU Centennial Commemorative Stamps and other Philatelic items. These limited-edition commemorative items are NOW AVAILABLE FOR ORDERS. This project is in line with AdZU’s centennial celebration.

The AdZU Centennial Stamps feature four (4) separate stamps, denominated P7 each, showcasing historic images related to AdZU.

Fort Pilar Shrine was built by the Jesuit engineer, Fr. Melchor de Vera, SJ. The arrival of the first Jesuit missionaries in 1635 marked the systematic beginnings of the Catholic Church of Zamboanga.
The new high school building in Tumaga, completed in 2006, houses many classrooms, labs, library and several offices. The campus which was later named Fr William H Kreutz SJ will soon accommodate the grade school unit.
The brebeuf gymnasium is the oldest structure in the La Purisima campus. Built in 1950, the gym served as venue for major functions of the institution.

The centennial stamps and other philatelic items are best and unique memento that each Atenean must possess. Taking part of the Ateneo history is the best gift alumni can offer to its Alma Mater.
