The Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) invites your school to send eight of your best students to participate in the 12th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO) – the country’s oldest and most prestigious nationwide Mathematics competition among high school students.
The PMO is designed to select the country’s best students in mathematical problem-solving. The competition has three levels, the qualifying stage, area stage (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR), and the national stage.
The qualifying stage for Region IX will be on October 24, 2009 at 1:00 pm in Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Learning Resource Center (LRC) Building, Ateneo de Zamboanga University main campus.
