The Languages Department of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University is accepting applicants for the 2nd ADZU Writers’ Workshop (AZWW) to be held on December 08 – 11, 2009.
Each applicant should submit a portfolio in triplicate of any of the following: either five poems, three short stories, or one novel in progress written either in English or Filipino. Portfolio may also be submitted either in Chabacano, Cebuano, or Tausug with English translations. Portfolio must have a title page bearing the author’s pseudonym and a table of contents.
The portfolio must also be emailed, attached as MSWord or Rich Text format, to robreyes2004@yahoo.com.
All submissions must include a sealed envelope containing the author’s name, address, contact number, e-mail address and a one-page resume including a literary CV with a 1X1 ID picture.
Eight fellows will be chosen from all over Zamboanga Peninsula. As the workshop is not stay-in, only food will be provided. A list of accommodations will be provided to participants outside Zamboanga City.
