MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE : ATENEO FIESTA, ALUMNI HOMECOMING 2015
As ONE ATENEO, we saw through yet another simple but meaningful celebration of community through the Ateneo Fiesta. I am grateful to all units and offices for your cooperation and support which were crucial to the success of the week-long ATENEO FIESTA 2015.
I congratulate and thank the AtFest 2015 Steering and Working Committees led by the chair, Mr John Mayo Enriquez, the Ateneo Alumni Association and the Ateneo Alumni Relations and Development Office led by its director, Ms Christine V Calunod.
I would also like to thank our University Security Office and the Physical Plant Office for their vital logistical support, and our generous friends and corporate partners for their sponsorships of the various activities.
I know how hard many of us have worked to carry out this traditional celebration. Thus, I am declaring the coming Monday, 07 December, a University rest day. I hope we take this time-off from work not only to relax and unwind, but also to remember Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, our patroness and, through her intercession, to give thanks to God for a peaceful, joyful and meaningful week.
