AdZU Task Force Contra COVID19 commenced its second wave of relief operations in the following areas: Barangay Zone II, Barangay Zone IV, Simariki Island, and Sitio Buggok, prioritizing vulnerable families in the said areas.
Family food packs were also distributed in Barangays Boalan, Malagutay, Sto. Nino, Tetuan, and Tugbungan; and cash assistance was extended in Barangay Kasanyangan.
In a separate relief operation, help was also given to AdZU students, faculty and staff in Barangay Sinunuc who were affected by the lockdown in the area.
To support the operations of AdZU Lantaka Campus quarantine facility, 50 electric fans were donated.
All these were made possible by the following: AdZU HS Class 1977, Rolly Macasaet, Bong Nuño, Metro Stonerich Corporation, Cartwheel Foundation, Tanging Yaman Foundation, Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan, ADMU Dream Team, Philippine Jesuit Aid Association, and various individual donors. Repacking and distribution were done by barangay officials, SK council, teachers of Simariki School of Indigenous People and Angiskul Bangka Day Care Project, and the Zamboanga Emergencia Responde Operativo (ZERO) volunteers.
